1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Sentinel website at sentinel.avcap.co.tz, the Free Summary intake form, and any audit engagement you commission with us. By using this site or submitting the form, you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Avril Capital Co. Ltd., a Tanzanian private limited company.

2. Free Summary intake

The Free Summary intake collects a website URL and a contact email so that we can prepare a top-line public-facing audit summary at no cost. Submission of the form constitutes a request that we audit only the publicly accessible surfaces of the URL provided.

Submission does not authorize active testing, authenticated probing, or any form of penetration testing. Such work requires a separately signed Rules of Engagement document.

3. Audit scope and limits

Free and Comprehensive audits cover only public-facing digital surfaces of the target. Findings are based on observations made at the time of the scan and may be affected by factors outside our control, including DNS propagation, CDN cache state, and server-side feature flags.

Sentinel makes no warranty that the audit will identify every exposure, vulnerability, or compliance gap. The audit is a snapshot, not a guarantee of completeness. Use of the audit findings to make business decisions is at the client’s sole discretion and risk.

4. Commercial engagements

Comprehensive Reports, Implementation engagements, Perimeter audits, and Executive subscriptions are governed by a separate statement of work or service agreement between you and Avril Capital Co. Ltd. Pricing as published on the site is current at the time of publication and may be revised; the price applicable to a paying engagement is the price quoted in the signed statement of work.

5. Intellectual property

The Sentinel name, logo, audit methodology, and the published audit reports are the intellectual property of Avril Capital Co. Ltd. Clients receive a license to use audit findings internally and to share them with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations. Public republication of an audit report or its findings requires our written consent.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the audit service, the website, or these terms is limited to the fees actually paid by the client for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use this site to submit URLs you do not own or have authorization to audit, to attempt to interfere with the service, or to abuse the Free Summary intake by automated submission. We reserve the right to refuse service to any party at our discretion.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
